These worksheets are for use by researchers and/or experts with lived experience to think through important considerations to improve meaningful engagement in healthcare related research projects. A full toolkit surrounding meaningful engagement in healthcare research is currently in development.
Please note, we acknowledge that individuals who identify as researchers and individuals who identify as experts are not mutually exclusive and these groups overlap. The worksheets were developed to accompany the presentation “Meaningful Engagement of Experts with Lived Experience in Healthcare Research,” which was presented at the 2023 International Human Trafficking and Social Justice Conference.
